Bait stations usually don’t poison and kill all the cockroaches present at home. This process is also a bit unappealing.

Fix any water leaks

Cockroaches are attracted to moisture and the water leakage that is caused by the pipe leakage. Some cockroaches can survive a lot of days without food but only a few days without water. Make sure you fix all the pipes that are a source of leakage. Also, make sure water doesn’t stand for long in your sink and don’t overwater your plants too because the moisture doesn’t dry very quickly or sometimes at all. It can also attract other flying insects such as gnats too other than just cockroaches.

Homemade bait

Homemade bait can be the most effective way to get rid of cockroaches. To make this bait, mix three parts of boric acid with one part of powdered sugar.
